Here’s what you can order with your Vivint smart system
Unlike other security companies, Vivint’s home and security systems are available to renters. Look at just a few of the more asked about components and services:
Intrusion prevention
Motion alarms and window sensors can warn you when an unwanted guest comes into your place. Receive a notification to your smartphone if an device trips, or arm and disarm your components remotely to let in guests or maintenance when you’re not home.
Environmental safety detectors
Smoke detectors should come with your apartment or rental home, but probably not other safety detectors. Place a wireless carbon monoxide alarm or water detector to alert you and your monitoring team to problems before it’s too late.
HD security cameras
HD security cameras can be wirelessly installed so you can watch over certain rooms. A doorbell camera allows you watch -- and converse with -- visitors at the front door. Watch real-time HD feeds and notifications about possible lurkers through your mobile app.
24-hour monitoring
A great benefit of using Vivint is the monitoring team that respond to tripped alarms. If a sensor trips, your monitoring team immediately calls you to see if you’re secure. Then they’ll quickly call the fire or police departments.
Home automation devices
Home automation devices, such as smart lighting, can be put in to make your apartment more energy-efficient. Some devices like a smart thermostat or smart door locks may involve prior landlord approval.
The Vivint App
Your New Orleans security system can be adjusted from home or away with the Vivint App. Watch real-time security feeds, remotely turn on and off alarms and cameras, or program rules for alarms and lights. Then receive notifications to your mobile device if an alarm goes off or a security camera detects unsavory activity.
